We offer our Economy Class passengers on flights with a flying time of up to approximately 180 minutes a buy-on-board service named Austrian Melangerie. Austrian Melangerie focuses on quality, regional selections and variety in the on-board catering. Our guests can choose from a wide range of high-quality products that meet their needs and buy them on board.

We work with a forecasting system to ensure our supply levels are as accurate as possible. Our goal is to minimise food waste. With our pre-ordering system, each guest can help us plan supply levels even more precisely. We hope you’ll use this great option.

We also take care when sourcing the products we offer. In addition, we are working on a packaging concept with a focus on environmentally friendly materials, which also allows guests to take their food with them when they leave the aircraft.

You are welcome to order your preferred fresh Austrian Melangerie products in advance.

You can bring your own food and drink with you. Please note the regulations for the carriage of liquids before the security control and the hand luggage regulations. You are not permitted to consume alcohol which you bring on board with you.

Miles & More customers can now earn and also redeem miles with Austrian Melangerie.

It works like this:

Earning miles: pay with your Miles & More credit card or another standard credit card and show your Miles & More service card. At least one mile will be credited for every EUR 1 spent.

Redeeming miles: show your Miles & More service card, your Miles & More credit card or another standard credit card.

The product range will be changed twice a year.

We use a forecasting system to plan our supply levels based on the previous levels of demand. Supply levels are thus individually planned for each flight. Our goal is to minimise food waste.

You are welcome to use the pre-ordering system to ensure your desired product is available on board.

The product range offered will depend on the flight length and the demand. There will be a reduced selection available on shorter flights. An overview can be found in the menu.

The range has been selected to cover the most common special meal requirements. You can find out about ingredients and allergens in the current menu card before departure.

We will provide you with one serving of still water on each flight. Still and sparkling water in a 0.5 l bottle can also be purchased on all flights.

With us you can make cashless payments. We accept VISA, Mastercard, Diners Club and AMEX credit cards, as well as mobile payment solutions such as Apple Pay. Payment is also possible with Austrian Bankomat/Maestro cards and miles.

Miles & More members can use miles to pay at Austrian Melangerie.
