How to get to your accommodation after your flight to Brussels
If you are flying to Brussels, you will land at Brussels Airport (BRU). This is only around twelve kilometres outside the city and is easily accessible by train or bus. Expect a journey time of around 20 minutes. Taxis or hire cars are of course also good options. The country's second largest airport, Brussels-Charleroi Airport (CRL), is also located around 50 kilometres south of Brussels. The bus journey to Brussels takes just under an hour.
Once in Brussels, the best way to get around is on foot and by public transport: In addition to the metro and the tram, there are numerous bus routes connecting the city's various districts.
