How do I get on after my Vienna- Preveza/Lefkada flight?
You don't land directly on the island – Preveza airport is on the mainland to the north. After your flight from Vienna (VIE) to Preveza/Lefkada (PVK) you can reach Lefkada town by bus, taxi or rental car within about 30 minutes. The road leads over a floating bridge to the island's capital on the northern tip. From there, you can reach your holiday resort or day trip destinations via a well-developed road network. There are regular bus connections, especially to the more densely populated east side. If you want to go to the west coast and the mountainous centre of the island, you are much more flexible by car.
