Online check-in
You don’t have to endure long queues at the check-in counter. Check in conveniently at home or on the move, then at the airport go directly to the baggage check or your departure gate.
If you do not know the booking code or ticket number, please use the following option to call up online check-in with the details provided by your travel agent.

Austrian Airlines online check-in usually opens from 47 hours before scheduled departure from and to Vienna.
This is how to check in online
Identification
Identify yourself using your name and 6-digit booking code (e.g. A1B2CD), your 13-digit e-ticket no. (e.g. 2571234567890) or your frequent flyer programme and select your flight.
Have you booked a charter flight with Austrian Holidays? If so, please check in via the tab with the same name.
Select seat
Select your personal favourite seat on the seat map. You can also select a seat for people travelling with you.
Add extras
Do you want an upgrade to a higher travel class or need additional checked baggage for your trip? Conveniently book extras in online check-in
Create boarding pass
You can now save your boarding pass on your smartphone or print it out.

Good to know
Austrian online check-in is available for departures from the following destinations from 24 hours before departure:
- Dubrovnik
- Split
- Zadar
Due to government regulations, in online check-in you will not receive boarding passes for trips that include an airport in the USA until 24 hours before departure of the first flight. However, you can still check in, select your favourite seat and add extras to your trip online 47 hours before departure as usual.
