Star Alliance Book and Fly - Your Round the World fare online booking tool
In addition to getting your Round the World tickets via Lufthansa reservations or your licensed travel agent, Star Alliance is also selling these special fares through staralliance.com.
The Star Alliance Book and Fly tool allows customers to book and buy Round the World tickets via the internet, 24 hours a day.
Additional Information
• Stopovers: Minimum of 2 / Maximum of 15
• Baggage: Piece concept shall apply for the entire journey. Note: For most Star Alliance carriers 23kg per piece applies in Economy Class
• Routings: Travel must commence from and return to the same country on flights operated by Star Alliance partners. Your trip must include only one transatlantic crossing and only one transpacific crossing. Only one crossing between Europe/Africa/Middle East and Asia is allowed. Your entire journey must not exceed 16 flight coupons (including surface sectors and subsequent rerouting).
• Length of stay: Minimum: 7 days (if trip starts in Australia) /Maximum: 12 months
• Reservations/Ticketing: For travel originating worldwide, except in Europe- reservations and ticket issuance must be made at least 24 hours prior to departure for the sectors up to and including the first international sector. Other sectors may be booked at any time.
• Discounts: Children (2-11) pay 75% of adult fare. Infants under 2 not occupying a seat 10% of adult fare - if infant turns 2 during the journey, child fare applies. No senior discount.
• Taxes & fees: Fares do not include applicable taxes, fees and airport charges. Fares also do not include carrier (YQ) surcharge.
• Change fee: Date Changes: Free / Routing Changes: US$ 125
