Check yourself in quickly at Vienna Airport with our automatic check-in machines. Frequent flyers enjoy special benefits in the priority check-in zone. You also have the option of checking in your bags the day before your trip.

Vienna Airport has numerous automatic machines where you can check in yourself and drop off your bags.
A Special Assistance counter is available for all unaccompanied children and passengers with limited mobility.
How to check in at the automatic machines
Print boarding pass
Identify yourself with your six-digit booking number or a magnetic strip card (for example your credit/debit card or passport).
Select your seat and print out your boarding pass. You can print your baggage tag at the dedicated self-service kiosks.
Passengers who only have carry-on baggage can then go directly to security control.
Checking in baggage
At Vienna Airport you can check in your bags yourself at the self-service baggage drop-off desks. Identify yourself at the machine, place your suitcase on the belt, print the baggage tag and then attach it to your suitcase.
Excess baggage and special baggage must continue to be checked in at the oversized baggage desk.
Go to the gate
As soon as you have your boarding pass and baggage receipt, follow the information signs to the gate listed on your boarding pass.
You will be kept informed of any last-minute gate changes via the flight departure boards and the Austrian App.
Please always plan enough time and observe the check-in deadlines.

Our day-before check-in service allows you to check your bags on the day prior.
For flights to the USA, the baggage check is only available from 24 hours before departure.
