How to redeem your Flight Value Voucher
Activate
Open the confirmation link you will have received by email and log into the Flight Value Voucher portal with your austrian.com or Miles & More profile.
Download
Download your Flight Value Voucher as a PDF. You can also view the voucher at any time via the portal.
Redeem
Book your new trips via austrian.com. Enter the code of your Flight Value Voucher on the payment details page.
Please note
- The Flight Value Voucher must be redeemed within three years, calculated from the end of the year in which your flight was cancelled. The validity of earlier Discount Vouchers is not extended.
- To make a new booking with the Flight Value Voucher, the departure location must be in the same country as the departure location of the original ticket.
- Bookings with a Flight Value Voucher must be redeemed online.
- You need an austrian.com profile. If you do not yet have a user account, please create a user profile by clicking “Log in” in the top right and then the link “Register now”.
Frequently asked questions about Flight Value Vouchers
You can use it to pay for your flight ticket. It is not possible at present to use it to pay for extra services added later, such as seat reservations or luggage.
Once you have converted your ticket into a Flight Value Voucher, you can enter it directly on the payment details page when booking a flight on austrian.com.
You can redeem your Flight Value Voucher within three years, calculated from the end of the year in which your flight was cancelled. You can use it for one or more new bookings.
The Flight Value Voucher offers you maximum flexibility. The Austrian Flight Value Voucher can only be used for bookings on austrian.com, with the exception of multi-stop flights. The valid fare conditions for the new flights selected will apply.
You must ensure when booking with the Flight Value Voucher that the departure location for the new booking is in the same country as the departure location on the original ticket.
You can use your Flight Value Voucher with online booking to pay for several tickets in one booking or you can use it several times until the value of the Flight Value Voucher is used up. The only condition is that the person holding the voucher must travel with you.
You can apply for a refund if you cannot use the Flight Value Voucher already issued to you.
The Flight Value Voucher can only be redeemed with the airline that issued it. The Flight Value Voucher does not apply to bookings for Austrian Holiday flights.
You automatically cancel any previous applications for a refund by applying for a Flight Value Voucher.
