Boston – history, culture and modernity
Embedded in the rich history of the American War of Independence, Boston enchants visitors with all its charm. The famous Freedom Trail will take you to historic locations such as the Old North Church and the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum. The Back Bay and Fenway districts offer a vibrant cultural scene, top-class restaurants and exclusive shopping opportunities. If you prefer things a little quieter, you can relax in the green oases of Boston Common and the Public Garden. The city skilfully combines tradition with modernity and invites you to soak up its unique atmosphere.
Bremen – maritime atmosphere
When a donkey, a dog, a cat and a cockerel cross your path, you know you’ve arrived in Bremen. This Hanseatic city has 1,200 years of history behind it and its ancient soul is reflected in its magnificent architecture. You can get a broader insight from St Peter’s cathedral. Its viewing platform gives you an amazing view of the city and the Weser river. Visit Loriotplatz, stroll along the banks of the Weser, dine on the famous “Alexander von Humboldt” sailing ship or get your sugar fix in the sweet factory. Explore the world’s climate in the famous Klimahaus.
Tbilisi – the dancing city
From secret tip to popular destination, Georgia’s capital has a wide variety of attractions to offer. Explore medieval streets and buildings, the Museum of Illusions, the monumental statue of Kartlis Deda, the sulphur baths at Abanotubani and even a gorge with a waterfall. Tbilisi is original, hip, magnificent and welcoming. Culture lovers will find inspiration in its more than 30 theatres, while bookworms must visit the old book market that lies directly on the bank of the Kura river.
Bari – make friends with the sun
This port city on the Adriatic coast combines tranquillity and joie de vivre in an Italian opera. The old town is the ideal starting point for exploring. Whether you’re going shopping on Via Sparano, to Pane e Pomodoro city beach, to the Pinacoteca Metropolitana art gallery or for dinner on the port promenade: everything is easily reachable on foot. Fancy an ice cream? The Gelateria Gentile is considered the best ice cream parlour far and wide.

Seville – the cradle of flamenco
The capital of Andalusia radiates a very special energy. A blend of Arab influences and Catholic architectural styles define the cityscape. The Alcázar Palace is absolutely worth a visit. The narrow city-centre streets are ideal for taking a stroll and admiring the sights. Take a break in a tapas bar and savour the delicious local cuisine. In the Barrio de Triana, said to be the birthplace of flamenco, you can experience the spontaneous energy of this art form up close or simply wander through the streets.
Rovaniemi – the magic of the Arctic
Rovaniemi, a modern city in the middle of the Arctic wilderness, exudes a magical charm. Here you can watch the Northern Lights in the sky, see the Arctic wildlife and even pay Santa Claus a visit. This city in northern Finland is known as the “official” home of Santa Claus. If you want to feel the magic of the capital of Lapland, we’ll take you there non-stop from Vienna from the middle of December 2023.
Kittila – in northern Lapland
200 kilometres from the Arctic Circle, in northern Lapland, the Finnish community of Kittila awaits you. Stunning scenery, one of the biggest winter sports centres in Finland and home to huskies and reindeer, Kittila is a paradise for nature lovers and winter sports fans. It’s the gateway to countless lakes, thousands of islands, pristine wilderness and spectacular national parks. Whether by foot, canoe, bicycle, skis or horse, there are endless ways to explore the beauty of this region.

Porto – Lisbon’s little sister
Porto is captivating – the irresistible charm of this city lies in its narrow, winding streets, intimate restaurants and picturesque, tiled facades. When strolling along the Cais da Ribeira promenade past beautiful old buildings, it’s easy to forget about your everyday cares. If you’re looking for sun, sand and sea, you’re sure to find the perfect spot on one of the many beaches around Porto. There’s nothing quite like watching the sunset with a nice glass of port.
Marseille – the pearl of the Mediterranean
Marseille is the ideal destination for a city break: friendly cafés and lively bars invite you to relax, while the historic and modern architecture is a real feast for the eyes. The cuisine and “savoir vivre” of this city are influenced by French sunshine and the Mediterranean air. The nearest bay and beach are never far away. Notre-Dame de la Garde sits 161 metres up on a hill and offers wonderful views across the city and the sea.
Billund – yes, Lego!
That sounds familiar… Got it! Billund is the birthplace of the most famous coloured bricks in the world. But this Danish city has lots more to offer: a safari park, the largest waterpark in Scandinavia and a museum courtyard that offers a glimpse into rural life in the 18th and 19th centuries. The location of the city makes it ideal for excursions to historic sites and attractions. And if you want to experience that “Viking feeling”, you should definitely try the famous mead. Skål!
Tromso – gateway to the Arctic
Tromso is relaxed and relatively small, yet this Norwegian city has a wide range of attractions to offer. The Polar Museum tells the story of brave polar expeditions, midnight concerts are performed in the Arctic Cathedral and the world’s northernmost botanical garden is open 24 hours a day and is home to some very special Arctic flora. But the main attraction is the Northern Lights, which are stunning even at relatively low levels of activity.
Vilnius – the green capital of Lithuania
Vilnius is known for its Baroque architecture that is especially found in its medieval old town. The buildings reflect different styles and periods, ranging from the Neoclassical Cathedral Basilica of St Stanislaus to the Gothic church of St Anne. In the Museum of Illusions, you can marvel at the masterpieces of the great illusionists of the Netherlands, Sweden, Japan and the whole world. If you want to get up above it all, you can book a flight in a hot air balloon over the old town of Vilnius.
Palermo is different
Palermo has cleaned up its act – chaos and traffic have given way to a splendid pedestrian zone in the old town. It offers a wealth of attractions: the magnificent Norman Palace, the colourful markets, the Cappella Palatina with its Byzantine mosaics and Italy’s largest opera house all combine to make this city a popular travel destination. The Teatro Massimo is well-known to movie fans as it served as the backdrop for the final scene in the famous film “The Godfather Part III”.
